UATP works closely with Utah Centers for Independent Living (CILs) to help Utahn's with disabilities get and use assistive technology.
CILs are local not-for-profit service and advocacy organizations that work to increase the integration, freedom to act on civil rights, dignity, and independent living of all people with disabilities.
Each CIL has an assistive technology loan bank to help consumers try out AT to able to determine which device will work best before purchasing it. CILs can also help consumers to determine the types and costs of AT that will best meet an individual's needs. Contact your local Utah CIL for more information.
